The Cedar Valley Family STEM Festival is a community-wide partnership led by the Northeast Region of the Iowa Governor’s STEM Advisory Council at the University of Northern Iowa, Waterloo Community Schools, Cedar Falls Community School District, Central Rivers Area Education Agency, Hawkeye Community College, John Deere, University of Northern Iowa and Volunteer Center of the Cedar Valley. This awe-inspiring day will feature compelling, educational and entertaining activities, performances and exhibits to boost children's interest in STEM and parents in STEM related job opportunities.

Stop by to visit with IIHR and Iowa Flood Center staff to see an interactive watershed model in action that shows how land use changes can impact and reduce flood risks. Attendees will learn about watersheds and flooding.
