Biography
I hold a B.S. in Environmental Engineering from the University of Antioquia in Colombia (2016) and a specialization in Hydraulic Resources from the National University of Colombia – Medellín (2018). I am currently enrolled in the M.S. Program in Civil & Environmental Engineering: Water Resources at the University of Iowa. My research consists of the development of a physically based model to predict and forecast hourly stream water temperature in every stream of Iowa’s river network. My research work is the first step in developing a higher-level water quality model to predict concentrations of nutrients, which can help in Iowa's environmental management.
