Dr. Vergara is a faculty research engineer and associate director of the Iowa Flood Center, providing expertise in hydrologic modeling with a focus on river-flood and flash-flood forecasting.

Larry Weber is the IIHR director, a professor of civil and environmental engineering, and the Edwin B. Green Chair in Hydraulics. With Director Witold Krajewski, he helped create the IFC and continues to be active in its development through work with the Iowa Legislature

Nate Young is associate director of the Iowa Flood Center and a research engineer at IIHR—Hydroscience and Engineering.
