I received my BS in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Technological University in 2019 and graduated with my MS degree in Civil Engineering from UW-Madison in 2021.
Currently, I am a first year PhD student in Civil Engineering here at Iowa. My research focuses on the economic impacts of flooding, whether through flood insurance or federal assistance programs.I am very excited about interdisciplinary research that combines hydrological engineering with social science to understand how natural hazards will affect particular communities in the future.

A fun fact about me: I have completed an ultramarathon and am avid gravel and mountain biker, trail runner, and Nordic skier!
